Yay it’s time for another edition of BN Red Carpet Fab!
On Sunday 23rd June 2013, the city of Lagos was agog with excitement as the anticipated D’Kings Men Live in Concert show headlined by Koko master D’banj and American rap star 2 Chainz, took place at the Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The event hosted by comedian AY Makun and media personality Toolz, was to launch D’banj’s new album – D’Kings Men.
With a special appearance by American reality TV star Kenya Moore as well the electrifying on-stage performances by Kay Switch, Phyno, Olamide, Mafikzolo, Fally Ipupa, Naeto C and the headlining acts, the show lived up to critical expectations.
Some of our favourite celebrities including Lynxxx, Efya, Fade Ogunro, Timaya, Juliet Ibrahim, Gbemi Olateru-Olagbegi and Susan Peters, took to the red carpet at the event in their most loved ensembles.

Ghanaian songstress Efya brought her red carpet va va voom effect to the concert on Sunday evening. She paired her black strapless corset and mini leather skirt, with gold drop earrings, a gold necklace and blue ankle strap heels.
It’s Naeto C! The music star arrived in a simple black T-shirt, camouflage pants and funky trainers. He accessorized with a gold necklace and dark shades.
Ghanaian movie star Juliet Ibrahim was spotted at Nollywood actress Susan Peters‘ birthday in May. No surprise here as she chose her famous friend to accompany her to the concert.
Juliet rocking her signature blonde locks, wore a black bandage dress, a black-and-gold clutch and red heels. Susan opted for a red tweed jacket and a white mini dress. She styled it with a silver belt, a black clutch and black platforms.
Self proclaimed “Mr. Sexy” Lynxxx was also at the event rocking a hip getup. His colourful T-shirt was paired with black jeans, black Nike Jordans and a selection of gold jewelry.
OC Ukeje and Kemi “Lala” Akindoju posed together for the BN cameras on the red carpet. OC wore a white T-shirt, a grey waist coat, checkered shorts and brown boots, while Kemi kept it simple-yet-chic in a purple strapless jumpsuit, pink flats and a black clutch.

Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore rocked a white strapless corset, white cigarette pants and cream peep-toes. She styled the outfit with gold hoop earrings and simple gold necklace.
Her choice of smoky eyes and light pink lipstick made the look more edgy. What do you think?
Rising Nigerian designer/make-up artist Olajide Adedeji wore a white sleeveless long shirt, white pants and white sneakers. Celebrities including Chris Brown and Ciara are fans of the long shirt trend. Did Olajide pull it off?

Congolese artiste Fally Ipupa also chose a similar look like Ikechukwu. He wore a black sleeveless hoody, a black vest, black shorts, dark shades and leopard skin sneakers.
American rap star 2 Chainz chose not to walk the red carpet and moved swiftly to the VIP backstage lounge. The 35 year old “Birthday song” rapper chose a black shirt with red-and-white print detail from Givenchy’s Spring/Summer 2013 collection.
He paired it with a red hoody, red leather pants, a black cap and dark shades,
Timaya stayed close to his entourage as he made his way into the show in an all black outfit.
Prints
Production entreprenuer Gbemi Phillips hit the red carpet in an Aqua by Aqua print dress, black Jimmy Choo boots and a black Louis Vuitton clutch. Smoky eyes, nude lipstick and a pixie cut, completed the look.
No Chris Ubosi isn’t in a print outfit but he posed with a friend who wore a pretty print jumpsuit.
She styled her floral print dress with a statement neck piece and black heels.
Her style seems effortless. She paired her halter neck print dress with silver flats and an orange Céline tote.
With her dark locks styled down, she paired the white-and-blue floral dress with a black clutch and black sandals.
A Few Sartorial Lads
TV personality illrymz looked sharp in his tailored black waist coat, white shirt, a black Italian tie, black pants and black shoes.
“Finally” star D’banj arrived at the DKM Live in Concert show in a custom black tuxedo by Okunoren Twins. The single button suit made by the Nigerian design label features lapels of $100 dollar bills.
He styled the suit which reportedly costs $ 25,000 with a white shirt, a black velvet bow tie, a diamond ring, spiked black shoes and dark shades.
On air personality Dotun Kayode opted for an orange blazer, a light blue shirt, navy pants and geek shades.
Co-host of the event AY Makun arrived at the event in a sleek look. He paired his white blazer which features white-and-black striped lapels, with black pants, a white shirt, a pair of black loafers and dark shades.

Fade Ogunro took a style risk which paid-off – rocking her natural hair. She wore a halter neck satin blouse with a bold cut-out, a print skirt, white-and-black heels and a black clutch.
Noble Igwe wore a white Marvel comics print shirt, jeans and brown shoes.
Gbemi Olateru-Olagbegi chose a multi-coloured sequined jacket from Virgos Lounge. It was accessorized with a black camisole, black pants, black high pumps and a black clutch.
The look was completed with hoop earrings, smoky eyes and red lipstick.
Soundcity TV presenter Pearl was all smiles in a black one shoulder sleeve dress and black heels.
