Exclusive: First Photos from the Women Celebrating Women Conference in Lagos! Dionne Warwick, Tiwa Savage, Waje, Jay Jay Okocha & More

All about celebrating women. On Saturday 15th June 2013, the anticipated Women Celebrating Women Conference took place at the Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The event was organised for women from all walks of life to think, talk, sing, share and support.

Renowned American singer/TV show host Dionne Warwick as well as other American acts were invited to the event.

Praiz, Waje,  Toke Makinwa, Olisa Adibua, Toolz, Tee Mac, Caroline and Musa Danjuma, Kenny Saint Best, Osas Ighodaro and Damilola Adegbite were also present at the event. Inside the hall, comedienne Chigul delivered rib cracking jokes while Tiwa Savage, Chee, Seyi Shay, Niyola, Justina and Tomi Odunsi belted out their songs.

Sometime back in March, we showed you some exclusive photos from the set of ‘Sherikoko Reloaded’ {click here}, a Nigerian comedy flick where Funke Akindele and Nkem Owoh ‘got married’.

This time around, the reverse seems to be the case as the two are at loggerheads. Nkem Owoh‘s character is definitely in trouble. The movie also has a supporting role from Amaechi Muonagor.

Shot in Nigeria by Ghanaian photographer Bob Pixel, the 27 year old Ghollywood beauty opted for some interesting fashion choices including a pink mini dress which she styled with black Christian Louboutin pumps, a tribal embellished crop top and blue pants as well as a racy orange bikini.
